My first gambling experience - Part 2
I must say I was very nervous, silly isn’t it? I mean I was only placing a $5 bet, but to me that was a lot of money, more than I earned in an hour, and I was supposed to be saving up for a car, but I was feeling lucky and I had had a couple of drinks. Not the wisest thing to do when gambling and of course when you are seated at a table they are free, and just keep coming. The one thing I don’t do when I’m playing live online is drink.
My first card was a ten of hearts, the second and eight of spades, a good start, a ten would have been better though. To my left was a five of spades and a six of clubs and to my right a queen of hearts and a king of diamonds. I don’t really remember the end players, but being a regular Black Jack player now, I know how important that end box is. If I am playing in a casino I will never sit at the last box before the dealer, because if I make the wrong decision and everyone loses to the dealer because I did or didn’t take the card I just feel awful. That’s another good thing about playing live online there are no other players, not ones you can interact with anyway and give you the ‘evil eye.’
The dealer’s card was a six of clubs, yes! Please give him a queen, jack, king or anything over a five. I crossed my fingers and my legs.
The player to my left took a card, a seven of diamonds, no one else took a card. No one had gone bust, we were all hoping that the dealer would be the one to go bust.
